TRACKING THE SHADOW OF THE FILM "SISSI" IN AUSTRIA

Sissi is a 1955 Austrian trilogy of films. The first one called Sissi  described the early life of the Austrian empress Elisabeth. The second installment in the trilogy is called The Young Empress, followed by the third one called Fateful Years of an Empress. With the success of the trilogy, Austria gradually became famous as the hometown of Empress Elisabeth plus its attractive scenery.

As is known to us, many visitors are attracted to Austria by the reputation raised by Sissi. It's the same to me. This summer, I went to Austria and was amazed by the sight of the beautiful mountains. As the bus drove through the road, the mountains on each side reared up and looked dramatically green against the sky. Houses stood at the bottom of the mountains in silence along with luxuriant vegetation. Far from din and bustle, everything there was so quiet and peaceful. No wonder Elisabeth can have such a happy life there.

Similar films that made some places famous include Roman Holiday which made Rome well-known and Transformer which made Chicago and Hong Kong well-known.  In fact, films to specific cities are like social media to specific companies, which means companies may not be familiar to people without the assistance of social media outlets. Therefore, as PR professionals, our mission is to build a positive image of a company while at the same time make it popular by effectively using social media and managing media relations.
